✔️ Repetição natural do past progressive
✔️ Ambiente leve, sem medo de errar
✔️ Prática real de perguntas e respostas
✔️ Vocabulário do dia a dia em contexto
✔️ Desenvolve fluência e raciocínio rápido
Master Past Progressive with a Detective Game
Turn your English class into a crime investigation. With the Alibi Game, students practice past progressive by building alibis and answering questions like real suspects. Fun, interactive, and perfect for speaking practice.
ALIBI GAME – RULES
The Detective picks a Crime Card (time, place, crime type, weapon).
The Suspect picks a Character Card (name, job, what they were doing, image).
The Detective starts the investigation. Only open questions allowed.
The Suspect must answer using Past Progressive (e.g., I was drinking coffee.)
The Detective asks follow-up questions to get details (people, actions, surroundings).
The Detective decides:
If the story makes sense → The Suspect is free.
If there are contradictions → The Suspect stays under investigation.
Repeat with new characters and new crimes.
