Jane does not care about the environment. She leaves the lights on, even when she's not home. She uses plastic water bottles, and she doesn’t recycle. She drives everywhere.And she never uses public transportation.
Tom is very environmentally conscious. He always turns off the lights when he leaves a room. He brings a water bottle with him everywhere he goes and makes sure to recycle properly. He walks or rides his bike for short trips and takes public transportation whenever possible. He buys food from local producers.
Jane and Tom are friends. They live the same city. They have different lifestyles. Tom thinks Jane should respect the environment. Jane thinks Tom is exaggerated.
